Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This role is ideal for early-career professionals who are excited to build scalable data pipelines, work with large datasets, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes
• Support data integration from various sources into data warehouses or lakes
• Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across platforms
• Write clean, reusable code for data processing and transformation
• Monitor data workflows and troubleshoot performance issues
• Document data systems, processes, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in data engineering or a related technical role
• Familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala)
• Basic understanding of databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and data warehouse concepts
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and tools like Airflow or dbt is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
