The role - your passion

As a working student in our Digital Solutions team, you’ll take an active role in shaping the way we work at roadsurfer. You’ll independently manage smaller digital projects, contribute to strategic decisions, and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment. With the support of experienced colleagues, you’ll grow your skills in project management, SaaS evaluation, and digital transformation.

Your key responsibilities:

• Project Management Take ownership of your own digital workstreams – from gathering requirements, planning and coordination to execution and follow-up – while being supported by experienced team members.
• Market & Tool Research Conduct in-depth research on SaaS tools and digital trends. Prepare structured comparisons and recommendations to support tool selection and innovation.
• Make-or-Buy Analysis Help evaluate whether to develop solutions in-house or adopt third-party tools – considering cost, scalability, and long-term impact.
• System Implementation & Testing Support the rollout of new tools, lead testing phases, and provide feedback to improve usability and integration.
• Documentation & Communication Create clear documentation, prepare presentations, and ensure transparent communication across teams and stakeholders.
• AI & Automation Exposure Get hands-on experience with AI-powered tools and automation solutions that enhance our internal processes.
  
  

What You Need To Surf The Wave With Us

• You’re currently studying Business Informatics, Business Administration, Digital Business, or a related field.
• You have a strong interest in digitalization, process optimization, and system integration.
• You bring a solid technical understanding and are curious about SaaS ecosystems and emerging technologies like AI.
• You are proactive, structured, and communicative – you enjoy working independently and taking ownership, while also being a strong team player.
• You feel comfortable in an international environment and communicate confidently in English (German is a plus).
