Pay Rate - €500-€550 per day
Initial 6 month contract with long term potential

We are seeking a skilled Web UI Developer to join our client's Counterparty Credit Risk Technology team, based in Dublin. This role sits within the Global Markets environment and offers a unique opportunity to work on high-impact risk management systems for a major international financial institution.

You'll play a key role in designing and delivering cutting-edge, responsive user interfaces for risk applications used by stakeholders across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale strategic risk initiatives, working in a fast-paced Agile environment with global teams in Ireland, the UK, India, and the US.

• Design and develop intuitive, responsive web UI solutions to support complex risk analysis and decision-making.

• Maintain and extend a reusable component library, ensuring consistency and scalability across applications.

• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and development teams to deliver best-in-class user experiences.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the team's ongoing improvements in UI performance and usability.
  
  

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• Strong front-end development skills using HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

• Expertise in React.js and UI architecture for complex, data-driven applications.

• Proficiency with CSS pre-processors (e.g., Sass or Less) and build tools (e.g., Webpack).

• Experience writing testable front-end code using tools such as Jest.

• Deep understanding of UX principles and responsive design, with a focus on browser compatibility (Chrome, IE).
  
  

• Experience working in the banking or financial services sector.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong interest in investment banking, risk management, or global markets technology.
