Financial Analyst

Our client is a global financial services and asset management firm with headquarters based in Dublin West. The business operates in a dynamic and data-driven environment, leveraging analytics, technology, and deep industry knowledge to drive value and deliver high-impact outcomes. This particular team is known for being entrepreneurial, collaborative, and forward-thinking. As part of continued growth, they are seeking a new Finance Analyst to join the team on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the timely and accurate financial analysis and asset appraisals
• Maintain and develop financial models that support business decision-making
• Work with large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimisation
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve systems and processes, including ERP and reporting platforms
• Support the development of dashboards and reporting tools to visualise key business metrics
• Contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives within the finance function
• Provide ad hoc analysis and insights to support strategic projects

Requirements:

• Degree-qualified in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, data analytics, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an analytical, finance, or business intelligence role
• Strong Excel skills (modelling, formulas, data manipulation)
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) advantageous
• Demonstrated understanding of financial principles, asset valuation, and data analytics
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Proactive and self-motivated, comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment
