Regulatory Business Analyst

Location: Dublin / Hybrid

Contract: 6 months (with potential extension)

Overview:

Our client, a leading financial services institution, is seeking an experienced Regulatory Business Analyst to support key compliance initiatives. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining Risk Management Plans (RMPs), ensuring regulatory alignment, and preparing documentation for audit and regulatory inspections.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and maintenance of Risk Management Plans (RMPs) in line with regulatory obligations.
• Gather, analyse, and document business and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure appropriate risk controls are in place.
• Prepare and present audit-ready documentation for internal/external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Track and manage regulatory issues and findings through to remediation.
• Ensure traceability between risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years as a Business Analyst within financial services.
• Strong experience with regulatory change, compliance, or risk initiatives.
• Direct experience working with RMPs and regulatory frameworks (e.g. CBI, ECB, or PRA).
• Comfortable engaging with auditors and producing audit artefacts.
• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
