Scrum Master
Hybrid role - Dublin / South Dublin
Duration: 12 Month Contract - Rolling contract
Years Experience - 7 years
Key Deliverables:
- Develop techniques for effective Product Backlog Management.
- Ensure the Scrum Team fully understands goals, scope, and product domains.
- Help the team understand the need for clear, concise Product Backlog Items.
- Promote an understanding of product planning in an empirical environment.
- Support the Product Owner in prioritizing and organizing the backlog to maximize value.
- Identify and remove project impediments to ensure team productivity and performance.
- Guide the development team in creating high-value products.
- Help stakeholders understand and adopt Scrum principles and practices.
- Act as a change agent to improve team productivity and agility.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters to improve Scrum implementation across the organization.
- Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) as needed.
Key Experience:
- Proven experience implementing effective Agile measurement and continuous improvement practices.
- Strong ability to organize, moderate, and demonstrate Agile best practices.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing plans, meeting deadlines, and coordinating timelines.
- Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies in large software development teams.
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and ability to adapt methodologies to meet team and business needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on collaboration and problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Certified Scrum Master
- Level 8 Degree - IT
- Agile Trained
- Must have Irish Public Sector Experience
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
- Ability to navigate and resolve conflicts within the team.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
