As part of our expansion, we are now looking for a Cosmetics Chemist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking active part in developing our products, and ensuring that they meet the quality, function, sensory descriptions at their best.
Responsibilities:
- Be ambassador of Bio2You in all work related activities
Work with the lab team on product innovation/improvement by:
- Take care of the product files and lab documentation
- Assist lab team in product development
- Develop an excellent understanding of the manufacturing procedures to ensure that scalability of new formulations is feasible
- Perform testing to evaluate the stability, efficacy, and safety of formulations
- Assist lab team in optimising cosmetic ingredients, sourcing
- Create prototypes with a variety of product sensory and performance characteristics
- Work with manufacturing team to take final formulas to production
- Assist technologist in supervising manufacturing process to ensure manufacturing protocol is followed unconditionaly
The requirements:
- Equivalent in a relevant subject, such as Chemistry or Cosmetic Science
- Strong technical knowledge of cosmetic chemistry and raw materials within the industry
- Familiarity with cosmetic safety regulations and compliance.
- Skilled in use of laboratory techniques and equipment
