SHE Specialist

“Unilever Lietuva ledu gamyba”, UAB is looking for a SHE SPECIALIST

(workplace: Mazeikiai, Lithuania)

ABOUT COMPANY:

Unilever Lietuva ledu gamyba, UAB is an ice cream producing company, located in Mazeikiai (Lithuania).

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES TO BE:

• maintain local and global SHE programs, holding self and others accountable for ensuring compliance with applicable elements of OSHA and Unilever regulations for the factory;
• ensure compliance with local legal SHE area requirements ;
• drive internal audits and subsequent programs ensuring SHE compliance and procedures;
• participate-in and support SHE risk assessments; develop and update its documentation;
• facilitate investigations if needed for injuries, incidents and near misses in the factory;
• understand and coordinate activities within hazardous and nonhazardous waste management area; report to regulatory and permitting requirements;
• administrate environmental permitting and regulations required as per law and within company;
• generate, maintain and submit all timely reporting requirements;
• partner with global SHE teams to ensure compliance to relevant Unilever and Regulatory standards;
• facilitate regulatory and site required SHE training to all personnel, maintain its documentation;
• support leadership team through continuous improvement of systems, policies and programs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Education required in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental area;
• Local SHE certificate;
• Ability to trend and track SHE data, incl. statistical evaluation of the data if required;
• Good English skills;
• Excellent communication skills and the interpersonal skills to work within a diverse and rapidly changing work environment, communicating both with senior managers and colleagues to ensure effective implementation and compliance of the SHE program.
