Application Testing Specialist - EU Institution Luxembourg

Job Description

• Execution of testing campaigns (e.g. demos of the applications, analysis of the test scenarios,preparation of test cases).
• Set up and develop test techniques;
• Create automated test suites;
• Assess and propose improvements of the test processes, methodology and tools;
• Coordinate the testing of products to ensure that they are conform to the customers'srequirements and methodology;
• Maintain quality plans, provide regular and accurate updates and reports;
• Provide advice as requested when detecting deviations from the tolerances foreseen;
• Proactively identify possible issues/risks;
• Prepare line of test for automated testing where possible.
  
  

Profile

Technical expertise

• Skills in test design techniques, in testing tools on the market and in minimum one testmethodology;
• Certification according to ISTQB, or equivalent certification or experience;
• Knowledge of service management, project management or IT management best practices(e.g. Agile, DevSecOps, Prince2, PMI, PM2, RUP, PMM4EP, ENGAGE, ITIL or equivalent),and experience of working in organisations and activities applying one or more of them;
• Optionally, experience with mobile devices and OS compatibility testing;
  
  

Your Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in conducting functional testing
• Experience working in complex application environments.
• Educational qualifications Bachelor degree
• Language skills Good commands and knowledge of French and English
• Service-oriented and excellent analytical skills
• Proven capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working;
• Capability to be sensitive and positively critical;
• Very good oral and written communication, in particular for quality and testing result reports
