DevOps Engineer – Crypto Platform (NL-based)

Full-time | Hybrid (Schiphol-Rijk Area)

A fast-growing European cryptocurrency platform is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join its expanding tech team. This company is on a mission to make crypto simple, secure, and accessible for all. With a collaborative, innovation-driven culture and a brand-new office in the Schiphol-Rijk area, you’ll be working at the forefront of fintech alongside 90+ colleagues.

What you’ll do

• Maintain and monitor high-availability server infrastructure
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Detect and resolve system bottlenecks and potential vulnerabilities
• Stay updated on security trends and mitigate risks (CVEs, misconfigurations)
• Manage deployment and stability of microservice environments

What you bring

• 4+ years in designing, deploying, and managing AWS-based microservices infrastructure
• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Terraform
• Proficiency with AWS services like ECS, Fargate, Lambda, and EKS
• Familiarity with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL (RDS preferred)
• A strong sense of responsibility, analytical thinking, and collaborative mindset
• Willingness to take ownership and follow through until the problem is resolved

Bonus if you have

• Experience with Kafka (Amazon MSK)
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD
• Knowledge of AWS CloudFormation or CDK
• Understanding of CloudWatch, X-Ray, and AWS security best practices
