Location: Bucharest, Romania
Working time:Full time
Level: Entry level or 0-2 year experience
Working schedule: Hybrid (2 office days / 3 home office days)
About The Job
The Junior Accountant will be responsible for managing mainly accounts payable and bank accounting activities, timely and accurate preparation of reports, analysis and reconciliations of our Romanian entities meeting the group requirements. This role will be partnering with various finance and functional teams within the Group and external suppliers.

Your Essential Responsibilities
- Performs general accounting on day-to-day basis (booking journal entries, accruals, etc)
- Processing supplier invoices, bank transactions and travel expenses
- Initiating various payments (invoices, taxes, etc.) in banking systems
- Managing correspondence, claims and requests of external suppliers
- Support timely, and accurate preparation of activities required for Group month-end closing
- Monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
- Business partnering with local operational teams and leadership
- Support preparation of statutory financial statements according to local accounting rules
- Involvement in local statutory and tax audits
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Entry level or 0-2 year accounting/finance experience
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Fluent in English and Romanian languages
