Back End Developer

JOB SUMMARY

The backend developer role involves the development, customization, configuration, testing, and deployment of applications. This position requires translating company and customer needs into functional software while working with the latest technologies.

We are looking for candidates located in Bucharest or Brasov who are willing to work in a hybrid model, which includes 1-2 days/week working from office.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

• Designing and building functional applications.
• Maintaining and improving existing applications.
• Identifying customer needs, understanding their concerns, and finding the best solutions.
• Fixing bugs and preventing them in the future.
• Ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Learning new technologies and applying them.
• Coaching colleagues, sharing knowledge, and generating ideas.
• Making suggestions for better solutions to problems.
• Collaborating effectively with team members and maintaining a positive attitude.

Education and Specific Training

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• English C1 or above CEFR proficiency level.

Work Experience

• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, ideally in a professional or enterprise environment.
• Experience with .NET, C#, and T-SQL.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Comfortable with Agile practices.
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and system issues.
• Effective communication skills for technical collaboration and documentation.
