Location: Gothenburg, Sweden (Onsite – Hybrid flexibility possible)

Duration: 6 months (with strong potential for extension)

About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Network Consultant to join our team in Gothenburg. The ideal candidate will bring a deep technical background with hands-on expertise in enterprise networking environments, particularly in WLAN, Load Balancing, and SDWAN technologies.

You will play a crucial role in the design, configuration, and delivery of network infrastructure projects, ensuring robust performance, compliance, and scalability across our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end network solutions from Low-Level Design (LLD) to implementation and governance.
• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure: routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers.
• Translate business requirements into technical deliverables.
• Work closely with operations teams to provide technical guidance and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure solutions align with architectural and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with Domain Architects and act as the SME in your technical area.
• Maintain and update network documentation and product/service overviews.
• Represent solutions and designs in architecture forums, as needed.

Technical Expertise Required

• 6–10 years of hands-on technical experience in enterprise network environments.
• WLAN: Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers, Aironet Access Points.
• WAN / SDWAN: Cisco Routing (ISR, ASR 9k), MPLS, VPN, and Meraki.
• LAN: Cisco Switching (Catalyst, Nexus 5k/7k), Cisco ACI.
• Load Balancing: F5 LTM/GTM configuration and maintenance.
• Cisco certifications highly preferred: CCNP, CCIE (Routing & Switching / Data Center).

Must-Have Skills

• Strong working knowledge of Cisco technologies across LAN/WAN/WLAN domains.
• Proficiency in SDWAN solutions and F5 load balancing.
• Ability to create and maintain detailed network design documents.
• Experience delivering network services in strict project timelines.
