SEARGIN IS HIRING!
As a dynamic multinational tech company operating in 50 countries, we drive innovation and create projects that shape the future and greatly enhance the quality of life. You will find our solutions in the space industry, supporting scientists in the development of cancer drugs, and implementing innovative technological solutions for industrial clients worldwide. These are just some of the areas in which we operate!
Currently, for the new Seargin project, we are looking for a Data Scientist!
Contract: b2b
Location: Remote
The Informatics Experience initiative aims to solve Informatics' content problems. Our workforce is unable to find basic information about informatics. At the same time, our content lives in hundreds and possibly thousands of disparate silos which are often outdated and often not written in user-friendly language. The Informatics Experience aims to solve this problem by centralising content, where we will implement governance and build experiences that are only possible with structured, composable content.
Here are the key areas of our focus:
- Standardised & Connected Content
- Composability, Consistency and Curation,
- Simplified User Journeys
Your role:
We aim to directly impact how our offering is developed and positioned in the Informatics ecosystem. As the Senior Data Scientist, you'll lead the implementation of advanced user behaviour analytics that directly impact our product adoption.
You will also be a critical bridge between our Informatics Experience project and the organisation's AI initiatives with emerging AI agent capabilities. You'll facilitate team collaboration and translate data requirements to ensure the new autonomous systems can become integrated into our workflows.
You'll be part of the architecture, development, and UX streams that design the comprehensive observability pipeline and build expertise across the whole data lifecycle—from collecting and processing to visualisation and storytelling.
We will rely heavily on behavioural modelling techniques to transform raw user and system data into actionable intelligence. To enhance our efforts, we aim to incorporate the newest AI tools and agent systems. You will have significant technical autonomy to shape our observability architecture from the ground up, integrating Grafana, Enterprise Search, and OpenTelemetry standards.
Requirements:
Observability:
- Creating and executing an observability strategy for user profiling with tailored metrics
- Ability to select the proper data sources for tracking user behaviour
- Experience implementing Grafana and Enterprise Search (Sinequa), including architectural review of requirements, POC for production deployment
- Ability to design and deploy E2E monitoring solutions in live environments with multiple integrated systems
- Knowledge of protocols and methods for collecting metrics, logs and traces (OpenTelemetry)
Data science and machine learning:
- Experience with working with AI tools and their practical application in user segmentation
- Strong understanding of AI agent architectures and their implementation in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of analysis and behavioural modelling techniques for user profiling
- Ability to optimise and evaluate behavioural model quality
Data management standards:
- Using FAIR standards
- Ability to create data governance principles and lifecycle
- Experience working with data stewards and creating procedures for them
- Knowledge of data security considerations specific to AI agents that can access multiple systems
- GDPR knowledge for personal data protection and processing
Communication and collaboration:
- Ability to visualise data and insights with data-driven storytelling
- Ability to prepare dashboards for technical and business audiences
- Experience serving as a technical liaison between traditional data science teams and emerging AI agent initiatives
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (Reliability & Observability Product, Enterprise Search/Sinequa, Galileo, UX, Product Design, Development and RDI)
Travel requirements:
- It is advantageous to be available to travel, as we plan to conduct two to four workshops annually in Poland (Warsaw, Poznań), Switzerland (Basel) or Spain (Madrid).
