We are currently seeking a Scrum Master for one of our banking clients.

✅Work setting: 6-8 days per month from the office

Key Responsibilities
- Managing the relationship and working with the Product Owner or relevant stakeholders to align scheduling of activities to broader programme / epic / release requirements
- Facilitating and managing pods to self-organize and deliver in an agile / scrum manner, enabling continuous improvement of change and run activities aligned to the product roadmap and customer expectations
- Responsible for leadership and coaching to enable agile delivery, including facilitating agile ceremonies such as retrospectives, reviews and PI planning events
- Managing and shielding the team from interruptions during sprints to ensure that agile process doesn't impede team progress
- Unblocking impediments and addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and/or the appropriate department
- Navigating through a complex environment of factors including size, legacy systems, and tooling to achieve effective agile process implementation
- Maintaining strong communication with stakeholders to ensure they are well-informed and supported during the transition from a legacy waterfall approach to Agile methodologies, successfully guiding the group through this shift in mind-set and practices
- Led the transformation to Agile Scrum, introducing and tailoring best practices to enhance team collaboration, streamline workflow and elevate delivery quality. Empower teams to adopt Agile principles and ensuring alignment with organizational goals for sustained success.
Knowledge and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Scrum Master role.
- Experience of working in financial services, preferably data-related change across product development or service delivery
- Understand the challenge of transition from Waterfall to Agile and be able to drive Agile delivery during that transition
- Ability to apply Agile and Scrum practices to the unique challenges of change, in line with business and delivery needs
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Experience of working and scaling different agile frameworks e.g. Lean, Agile Scrum, Agile Kanban, and Design Thinking
- Ability to lead and motivate Agile and cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) certificate or similar gives advantage
- Active participant in Scrum and Agile Communities, such as Scrum.org’s ScrumPulse and other Agile local networks, staying up to date with latest Agile trends, articles, and resources to continuously enhance knowledge and expertise
- Effective governance and stakeholder management (IT and Business)
- Exposure and success working within a global matrix organization model
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
