Senior System Analyst Officer

Job Purpose:

Senior Officer, System Analyst is an expert in business processes and uses their expertise in

improving operational processes through technological solutions. They collaborate with Business

Analysts to identify areas of improvement and develop plans that configure or update an

organization's system or software.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand how business units operate and actively contribute towards their tactical planning.
• Collect and understand the business requirements (BRD) and translate those into functional
• requirements (FSD).
• Analyse interdependencies of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify and document constraints, assumptions and risks associated with business requirements.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to create omnichannel customer experiences.
• Collaborate with technical teams to prepare a best-fit technical solution.
• Prepare Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to map business requirements with functional
• requirements and test scenarios/scripts.
• Define acceptance criteria together with business stakeholders.
• Obtain FSD approval from all necessary stakeholders.
• Validate delivery of functional requirements before being shared with technical team for System
• Integration Testing (SIT) and business team for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with COE and Finance to document and validate Return on Investment (ROI).
