Business Intelligence Engineering Manager

You will lead the design, development, and optimization of business intelligence applications and data analytics platforms (Power BI/Tableau). You’ll work closely with business stakeholders to turn raw data into actionable insights, drive data visualization excellence, and ensure smooth operation of enterprise BI systems.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for the understanding and documenting the business requirements
• Design the wireframe of the requested dashboards
• Conceptualize and build simple yet appealing Power BI/ Tableau dashboards with insightful details
• Build and maintain enterprise data warehouses and business analytics platforms
• Utilize analytics to explore data and uncover trends and insights
• Develop ad-hoc SQL queries for real-time analysis
• Provide technical and architectural solutions related to BI systems, tools, and databases
• Design and implement proof of concept solutions
• Senior member of team that interacts with business engagement teams to define dashboards
• Manage Tableau Administration servers and desktops.
• Writing the QA and UAT test cases together with QA engineer and validating it with the business users
• Providing the required training for using the application to the business users
• Troubleshooting any bug\issue in the system and identifying the appropriate fix
• Monitoring and maintain Power BI /Tableau Servers

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Power BI or Tableau certifications (or learning badges) preferred
• 6+ years in BI development using Power BI or Tableau
• 4+ years in SQL development, database design, and BI server administration
• Experience with Azure/MS SQL, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar platforms
• Hands-on expertise in data modeling, stored procedures, and scripting
• Familiarity with Agile development and DevOps tools (e.g., GitHub, Visual Studio)

Nice to Have

• Python scripting for data wrangling
• Experience with MDM solutions, customer profiling, or data enrichment
• Performance tuning experience for large-scale data platforms
