front End Developer

Job Summary

We’re looking for a front End Developer to support our team in Singapore. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality products and features to solve business problems within the organization,
• Understand products and user requirements in its entirety and ensure that these are delivered in a timely manner.
• Able to scope efforts, identify risks and communicate trade-offs with project managers and users.
• For this role, we will be primarily using AngularJS and NodeJS for frontend development, although knowledge of Java Spring Boot and Databases will be helpful.
• Contribute to internal build tools and process automation across the organization where needed.

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Security, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 1 - 3 years of experience working with frontend development tools such as AngularJS, ReactJS or VueJS.
• Sharp eye for user experience.
• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as data structures and algorithms, computer networks and software engineering best practices.
• Knowledge of backend development tools, such as Java Spring Boot, is an advantage.
• Good understanding of CRUD APIs and API development.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
• Excellent verbal and communication skills. Strong proficiency in Chinese is an advantage for this role as we will frequently be working with users and developers based in China and Taiwan.
• Strong understanding of Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment practices.
• Passionate about problem solving and technology.
