A leading multi-billion dollar proprietary trading firm is seeking talented C++ Developers to join their global technology team. You'll be working alongside world-class engineers and quantitative professionals to build and optimize high-performance systems that drive the firm's trading strategies across global markets.
What You’ll Do
- Design High-Performance Systems: Develop latency-sensitive, multithreaded C++ applications that power the firm’s real-time trading, analytics, and risk management platforms.
- End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of components across the software lifecycle—from architecture and implementation to deployment and support in a live production environment.
- Tooling and Platform Enhancements: Contribute to the development of internal tools and frameworks for simulation, monitoring, and testing, with an emphasis on performance and scalability.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with traders, researchers, and infrastructure teams to translate business requirements into robust, production-grade systems.
- Performance Optimization: Profile and tune system performance at all levels—code, networking, and hardware—ensuring maximum throughput and minimal latency.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3+ years of professional experience in C++ development, preferably in high-performance or real-time environments.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash for automation and testing.
- Exposure to large-scale, distributed systems and an interest in financial or trading systems is a plus.
- Bonus: Experience with networking protocols, event-driven architecture, or low-latency optimization.
