We’re a startup at the intersection of video AI and social media, with experienced serial entrepreneurs, a world-class team, and solid financial backing. We’re looking for a skilled ML Engineer with a focus on Recommendation Systems and Generative AI to join our innovative team. In this role, you will develop and refine cutting-edge algorithms that power personalized experiences and content creation. Your expertise in machine learning and AI will drive the design of intelligent recommendation systems and generative models that transform how users discover and engage with video content.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and optimize recommendation engines leveraging generative AI to enhance user personalization and engagement.
• Build and fine-tune state-of-the-art generative models, including applications for video content generation.
• Collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and engineering teams to identify opportunities for innovative recommendation features.
• Analyze and preprocess large-scale data to improve model accuracy and relevance.
• Conduct rigorous experimentation to validate and enhance recommendation strategies.
• Integrate recommendation systems with generative AI pipelines to create seamless, data-driven user experiences.
• Stay current with advancements in AI, machine learning, and recommendation technologies to keep our solutions at the forefront.
• Troubleshoot and improve performance of existing recommendation systems and algorithms.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing recommendation systems, particularly those utilizing AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Deep understanding of machine learning techniques for personalization, including collaborative filtering, matrix factorization, and deep learning approaches.
• Expertise in generative models such as Diffusion Models, GANs, or VAEs and their practical applications.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++ with a focus on scalable solutions.
• Experience with data processing libraries and tools (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, OpenCV).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) for deploying large-scale AI models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a collaborative mindset.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $165,000 - $400,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications (ranging from junior hires such as new graduates to senior hires with 25+ years of experience). This position is eligible for additional benefits and incentives, including equity, health benefits, retirement plans, and others described above. We are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices.
