We’re a startup at the intersection of video AI and social media, with experienced serial entrepreneurs, a world-class team, and solid financial backing. We’re looking for an AI Engineer who will be responsible for designing and implementing the backend infrastructure that powers AI features—from model inference to media pipelines and real-time user experiences. You’ll work closely with our ML, design, and product teams to turn experimental ideas into production systems that scale.

What You’ll Do

• Shipping the latest AI models into consumer-facing products.
• Architect, build, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems that support AI model deployment, real-time video processing, and user interaction.
• Design APIs and infrastructure for serving AI models in real time (e.g., video generation, audio synthesis, effects).
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to deploy and monitor models.
• Optimize data pipelines and inference performance for responsiveness at scale.
• Ensure high system reliability, observability, and maintainability.
• Help shape backend architecture and engineering best practices in a fast-paced startup environment.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong backend software development experience (Python, Go, or similar languages).
• Real-world experience deploying ML models in production environments (ideally with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or ONNX).
• Deep understanding of building and scaling distributed systems, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Cloud infrastructure fluency (GCP or AWS), including containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in debugging, logging, and monitoring.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, startup environment where code quality matters.
• Experience with AI agent frameworks, and developed agentic products.

Compensation

The expected salary range for this position is $165,000 - $450,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications (ranging from junior hires such as new graduates to senior hires with 25+ years of experience). This position is eligible for additional benefits and incentives, including equity, health benefits, retirement plans, and others described above. We are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices.
