Job Type: Full-Time

About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our team in Westlake, TX. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Agile methodologies and has a proven track record of fostering high-performing teams. You will be instrumental in driving Agile best practices, facilitating ceremonies, and supporting continuous improvement across squads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion Agile behaviors and reinforce practices, norms, and ceremonies to enhance squad performance and efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with Product Owners to shape the Product Roadmap, maintain the Product Backlog, and develop release strategies that maximize value delivery.
  • Ensure all work is tracked in JIRA/Kanban boards and is appropriately balanced across team members.
  • Identify team improvement opportunities and research external best practices to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain and update squad process metrics and artifacts to ensure clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Act as Scrum Master for multiple teams, ensuring alignment and consistency in Agile practices.
  • Collaborate across a matrixed environment, influencing and coaching team members and stakeholders.
  • Support full-stack software development teams with a strong understanding of DevOps, databases, and end-to-end solution design.

Required Qualifications

  • Scrum Master certification is required (e.g., CSM, PSM).
  • Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum fundamentals – both the why and the how.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA and Kanban boards.
  • Proven experience in a full-stack software development environment.
  • Comfortable with a broad set of technologies, including database stored procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and influence in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience acting as Scrum Master for multiple teams.
