Network Analyst

Scion Technical Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a skilled and proactive Network Operations Analyst on behalf of our client, a remarkable nonprofit institution centered on education, history, and innovation in Seattle, Washington! This full-time, direct-hire role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives within a legacy institution. What you will be doing:

• Support the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless systems to ensure reliable, high-performance network connectivity
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, implement preventative solutions, and proactively monitor network health to minimize downtime
• Conduct security monitoring, support vulnerability assessments, and contribute to compliance initiatives
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, cloud integrations, and the implementation of hybrid systems
• Maintain and document network configurations, security policies, and standard procedures
• Provide training and collaborative support to internal teams and stakeholders
• Work with vendors and support strategic IT initiatives across the organization

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• At least four (4) years of hands-on experience in complex network environments
• Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, and related systems; familiarity with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Aruba
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud networking
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to analyze network data and traffic
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities within a collaborative environment
• Cisco CCNA certification (or equivalent) required; ITIL v3 required, v4 preferred; lift certification and additional technical credentials like CISSP or Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate are a plus
