💼 Job Title: Network Engineer – Arista & Automation Specialist

💰 Day Rate: £400 – £425 per day

📅 Job Type: 12 month Contract

Are you a skilled Network Engineer with a passion for Arista technologies and network automation? We're looking for a hands-on expert to join a dynamic team supporting the deployment and optimization of enterprise and data centre networks.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, high-performance infrastructure using cutting-edge tools like Arista EOS, CloudVision, Ansible, and Python in a hybrid London-based role.

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable Arista-based network infrastructure
• Configure and troubleshoot BGP and EVPN routing across Layer 2/3 networks
• Manage real-time traffic with Multicast protocols including PIM and IGMP
• Use Arista CloudVision for orchestration, telemetry, and configuration automation
• Build and maintain network automation scripts and workflows (Ansible, Python)
• Align network infrastructure with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
• Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, and automated diagnostics
• Collaborate with architecture, security, and DevOps teams to ensure operational excellence

✅ Required Skills & Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Arista EOS in enterprise or data centre settings
• Strong understanding of BGP, EVPN (VXLAN), and Multicast
• Proficiency with Arista CloudVision for real-time management and automation
• Expertise in Layer 2/3 networking, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Proficiency with network automation tools such as Ansible, Python, and REST APIs
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and infrastructure-as-code principles
• Strong communication and documentation skills
