What does a successful .Net Developer do at Fiserv?

As a Software Developer you will be expected to contribute to all aspects of project delivery with specific focus on the development of enhancements and extension to our products.

Reporting to the team lead, this position will be part of the project team of developers, business analysts and quality analysts working under the leadership of a project manager and technical lead.

What You Will Need To Have:

• 4+ years hands-on software development experience designing, writing, debugging and testing object oriented code.
• Minimum 3 year hands-on software development experience in server side transaction systems using Visual Studio, .NET framework (C#) and SQL Server.
• Experience working closely alongside mobile app developers, iOS and/or Android as part of .Net server side development.
• 2+ years working on high volume transactional systems.
• Experience with developing and operating development and/or production environments in the Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps principles and PowerShell
• An advanced understanding of common computer programming algorithms.
• An advanced understanding of object oriented design principles.
• A solid understanding of software development patterns and their application in several programming languages.
• An advanced understanding of coding techniques which contribute to the reliability, maintainability, readability, simplicity, performance, observability, and testability of software.

• Create and update design documentation in Confluence
• Implement the feature request in code
• Cover with Unit Tests
• Write Functional Test scenarios
• Add to regression test collection
• Write performance test scenarios (where required)
• Make supporting pipeline changes
• Make supporting Infrastructure changes (cloud)
• Highlight observability of feature
• Support delivery
