Cyber Security Analyst

We are hiring for a Lead Cyber Threat Analysts - EL1 Level, Cyber Security Incident Lead - EL1 Level and Junior Security Analysts - APS4 Level for one of our Federal Clients.

Role: Lead Cyber Threat Analysts - EL1 Level, Cyber Security Incident Lead - EL1 Level and Junior Security Analysts - APS4 Level

Location of work: Canberra (work 3 days from office and 2 days from home each week)

Contract duration: 12 months + 24 months extension.

Security clearance: NV1 security clearance (are only eligible)

Overview:

Key duties and responsibilities

Cyber Security Incident Lead - EL1 Level

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

• 5 years experience in a similar Cyber Security Incident response type of role.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in cyber incident management working with the toolsets and platforms noted under the technical skills section.
• Demonstrated experience with: Incident Response Azure Sentinel Defender XDR Splunk Active Directory Ticket management systems

Lead Cyber Threat Analysts - EL1 Level

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 5 years technical Cyber Security experience across the following toolsets and disciplines – Incident Response Azure Stack (DevOps, Sentinel, Monitor, EntraID, Azure ARC, Defender for Cloud, Conditional Access) Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Scripting Defender XDR Splunk Active Directory Ticket management / case management systems
• Demonstrated experience using Azure Infrastructure as Code (IAC) within a DevOps environment.

Junior Security Analysts - APS4 Level (Junior Role)

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Cyber Security related role
• Demonstrated experience with the toolsets and platforms noted under the technical skills section
• Demonstrated experience producing standard operating procedures in a Cyber environment and producing operational technical documentation/user guides for cyber designated systems.
• Experience in an IT environment in Change Management reviews in particular firewall rules.
• Experience working with ITIL processes.
• Communicating to end users regarding cyber requests, issues and queries.
