🚀 Freelance Full Stack Software Engineer (React + Java)

📍 Remote + Brussels-Based Projects

We’re hiring a freelance Full Stack Engineer to join an established enterprise team working on critical platforms used by thousands of end-users across Europe.

You’ll be building feature-rich frontends in React and delivering robust backend services in modern Java - all within a long-term product roadmap backed by one of Belgium’s most stable enterprise environments.

💡 Think: clean codebase, smart colleagues, and technical ownership

🚫 Not: firefighting or patchwork fixes.

🔒 Hard Requirements

🇧🇪 Belgium-based freelancers only (no sponsorship or relocation)

🎯 The Mission

• 📍 Brussels-based (Remote + Hybrid)
• 📅 Start: Early July
• 🕐 Duration: 6 months (likely to extend)

🛠️ Tech Stack:

• React (Hooks, Context, Redux/Zustand), TypeScript
• Java 11+ (Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices)
• TailwindCSS / Styled Components
• Cypress, Jest, React Testing Library
• Bonus: GraphQL, Next.js, CI/CD tools

• You’ve delivered fullstack React + Java platforms
• Write clean, scalable, test-driven code
• You’re confident working async and independently
• Already freelancing in Belgium
