Job Title: IT DevOps Coach – Expert

Location: Montagne du Parc 3,

1000 Bruxelles, Belgium

Remote Work Expectation:

Hybrid – 50% on-site, 50% homeworking

• French and/or Dutch: Highly preferred for client and colleague interactions

Mission Context:

on a journey to enhance its development and deployment practices across IT teams. The aim is to empower product squads with high levels of autonomy in building, testing, and deploying applications. To support this transformation, we are seeking a DevOps Coach Expert with deep technical expertise and a strong ability to mentor and drive change across teams.

Responsibilities:

Coaching & Improvement:

• Guide and support product squads in adopting DevOps best practices.
• Analyze existing workflows and support teams in building actionable improvement plans.
• Train teams on:
• CI/CD practices
• BDD/TDD
• Software Craftsmanship
• Agile Testing and Gherkin DSL
• Trunk-Based Development
• Value Stream Mapping

Collaboration & Enablement:

• Work closely with other DevOps coaches and development squads.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the software delivery lifecycle.
• Act as a liaison between development teams and tools teams.
• Assist in appropriate use of platforms and tooling.

Technical Environment:

Existing Tooling Includes:

• Continuous build & integration systems
• Automated deployment pipelines
• Code quality and security scanning (e.g., Sonar, Fortify)
• Test automation, performance testing, service virtualization
• Test and release management tools
• Developer collaboration platforms

Primary Tech Stack:

• Languages: Java, JavaScript
• Version Control: Git
• Artifact Repository: Nexus
• Containers: Docker (preferred)
• Scripting: For automation tasks

Technical Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Proven DevOps coaching and software delivery experience.
• Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe, etc.).
• Strong Java development background.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools and build systems.
• Familiar with Git, Nexus, and scripting languages.
• Experience with code quality tools (SonarQube, Fortify).

Preferred:

• Experience with Android/iOS mobile development tools.

Experience in large-scale IT organizations
