Senior Python Engineer (Freelance)

I'm looking for a freelance Senior to support one of my end-customer clients on a high-scale backend project. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Python experience and a solid background working with scalable databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL, along with internal gRPC services, Kafka, and Kubernetes. Writing clean, testable, and maintainable code is a must.

This is a hands-on role, and previous experience in a large-scale product company is essential. I'm looking for someone who communicates well, works collaboratively, and brings a flexible, agile approach with a strong product mindset.

Some of the newer services are being developed in Kotlin — experience here is a bonus, but what's more important is openness to working with it as part of the stack.
