Job Title: Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the Azure DevOps environment, overseeing the CI/CD pipeline from end to end.

* Architect, implement, and manage DevOps solutions using Azure DevOps services (Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, etc.).

* Design and implement highly scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure.

* Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline the delivery process.

* Implement automation for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployments using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible.

* Ensure best practices for version control, CI/CD, and monitoring are followed across development and production environments.

* Provide mentorship to junior DevOps engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues with Azure resources, infrastructure, and deployments.

* Oversee the migration of on-premise infrastructure to Azure.

* Continuously evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve system reliability and developer productivity.

* Ensure compliance with security policies and industry best practices for cloud security.

Key Qualifications:

* Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in DevOps, with at least 5 years focused on Azure DevOps technologies.

* Cloud Expertise: Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and cloud infrastructure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, and Virtual Networks.

* CI/CD Tools: Expertise in designing and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and other tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.

* Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Strong experience with Terraform, ARM templates, or similar tools to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.

* Scripting and Automation: Proficient in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation tasks and building custom solutions.

* Version Control Systems: Proficiency in Git, including branching strategies and Git workflows.

* Containers & Orchestration: Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and managing containerized applications in Azure.

* Monitoring & Logging: Strong experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Prometheus, or Grafana, and log management platforms like ELK stack.

* Security & Compliance: Knowledge of cloud security best practices, identity management (Azure Active Directory), and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

* Collaboration & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Desired Skills:

* Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.

* Familiarity with serverless architectures, API Management, and Azure Logic Apps.

* Experience with cloud networking, VPN, and load balancing in Azure.

* Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, with experience in DevOps culture and practices.
