An exciting opportunity with one of Ireland’s leading banks. You will be working as a HR Specialist with one of the country’s leading commercial businesses offering a range of corporate and personal banking services. This role is located in South Dublin City Centre on a hybrid model.
Your new role
As a HR Specialist you will be responsible for the below actions but not limited to:
- The employee lifecycle workflow to ensure accurate, high quality and timely provision of services to employees and leaders within the firm and across the HR team.
- Accurate and timely management of information flow between our parent company and ensuring accuracy in internal processes such as onboarding and offboarding.
- Partner with the business on recruitment needs with a focus on digitalisation of the process, direct sourcing through promoting social media recruitment and contribution to positioning Goodbody as an employer of choice
- Project coordinate our early careers programme and lead out on the hiring through to onboarding, administering rotations and the learning and development programme with support of the Business Partner
- Embedding employee centric HR solutions through change management, continuously streamlining and simplifying processes to accelerate digitalisation and encourage employee self service
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for someone with drive, initiative and a passion for people practices to join the team. You will have solid experience in HR Operations, recruitment with strong relationship building skills, ideally with an ambition to grow into a broader HR role. You should also have:
- You have the ability to manage workloads to meet deadlines and deliver consistently high standards of work by planning and prioritising effectively.
- You are comfortable working and taking decisions - even in ambiguous environments.
- You are independent, self-motivated and can work off your own initiative while also confident in asking for support when needed.
- You are ambitious and want to make a difference when it comes to employee experience and have demonstrable experience of bringing a continuous improvement mindset
What you'll get in return

You will join a small team of HR Specialists with responsibility for broad operations of HR tasks, internal processes, HR administration and recruitment. You will work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner on enabling the delivery of the business strategy including supporting business change. You will also have the chance to work directly with other team members to deliver on the continuous improvement and transformation of the core HR employee services.
