We are expanding rapidly and are now seeking a IT Security Engineer to strengthen our cloud, IT infrastructure, and application security posture as we scale.

Your Mission

As a Security Engineer, you will ensure that security is seamlessly embedded across our DevOps processes while also playing a key role in maintaining and enhancing our Java-based application platforms and internal IT infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

• Design, implement, and maintain security best practices throughout the SDLC.
• Work closely with backend development teams to secure Java applications, APIs, and microservices.
• Conduct code reviews, threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and penetration tests.
• Manage, monitor, and harden CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Operate and improve cloud infrastructure (AWS or private cloud setups) with a focus on security, availability, and scalability.
• Oversee network security, including VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Provide incident response support and continuously optimize security operations.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of experience in an IT Security Engineer role.
• Strong background in securing software applications and systems
• Experience implementing application security tools like SAST, DAST, SCA.
• Deep expertise with Linux systems administration and securing cloud-based environments (AWS preferred).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools and scripting languages (Bash, Python, Groovy).
• Solid understanding of network security principles and identity/access management (IAM).
• Knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, OWASP Top 10, etc.
• Fluent English language skills
