Job Description:

Ocuco is seeking a seasoned Technical Product Owner to take ownership of key platforms and drive the evolution of our internal and customer-facing tools. We’re on a mission to build powerful, scalable SaaS solutions that deliver tangible value to both our teams and our customers. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and business, playing a critical part in shaping our future. The successful candidate will own the roadmap for essential SaaS tools, collaborating closely with stakeholders to define and deliver features that scale with our growth. This position requires strong technical fluency, a user-obsessed mindset, and proven experience in delivering and optimising SaaS platforms for both internal operations and customer-facing use.

Core Responsibilities:

• Own the full product lifecycle for internal and customer-facing SaaS tools: from discovery and requirements to delivery and ongoing optimisation.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, customer success, and operations to prioritise initiatives and align objectives.
• Gather and synthesise input from stakeholders and users to define product vision, requirements, and success metrics.
• Translate complex technical needs into clear, actionable product backlog items and epics.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Use data and user feedback to drive continuous improvement and identify optimisation opportunities.
• Ensure that tools are scalable, secure, and deliver measurable business and user impact.
• Stay tuned to the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in the SaaS ecosystem.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 4+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager, ideally in a SaaS environment
• Proven track record of launching and optimising internal and customer-facing SaaS tools
• Strong technical acumen: ability to communicate effectively with developers and understand architectural trade-offs
• Experience working in Agile development environments and using tools like Jira, Confluence, and Figma
• Demonstrable experience delivering value through iterative improvements, scaling systems, and increasing product performance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to generate actionable insights
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Fluent English, both written and spoken

• The Ideal Candidate will also have: Previous experience working with platform teams or infrastructure-heavy products
• Familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data flows across systems
• Background in B2B SaaS products or developer-focused platforms
• Experience in scaling processes and tooling across growing organisations
