We Are Hiring for a Leading Banking Client - Cybersecurity & Penetration Testing Experts Needed!


We're currently seeking talented individuals to join our team on a contract basis for a prestigious banking client.


Position: Penetration Tester / Cybersecurity Specialist

Contract Type: Daily Rate Contract

Work Model: Hybrid (combination of remote and on-site work)


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the digital resilience testing programme while collaborating with teams across the bank and relevant third parties, where relevant. Bring the Digital Resilience Testing Programme for governance approval and address any review feedback.
  • Develop cyber security and digital resilience testing playbooks and structure including reporting, issue tracking and other documentation relative to the execution of the Cyber and Digital resilience Testing programme.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to develop and maintain digital resilience testing playbooks and documentation for the Cyber and Digital resilience programme.
  • Continuous updates to testing strategy based on regulations, risks/threats and technology advancements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by translating digital resilience testing findings into actionable security enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and evidence for GIA/Compliance/Risk and outside authorities such as the Regulator to demonstration that the Digital Resilience testing programme is underway.

Requirements:

Essential

  • 5 + years’ experience in cyber/information security role
  • Experience with the coordination of different types of security testing: penetration testing, SIEM use case testing, vulnerability assessments and other types of scenario-based testing that sit outside the remit of a CISO function.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and within an organisation.
  • Experience working within large teams and complex environments.

Desired

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
  • Professional security certifications, such as CISM, CISA and CISSP are preferred.
  • Understanding of the various security frameworks (e.g. NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Willing and able to challenge internal and external obstacles.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
