Senior Software Engineer

Job Title: Senior Freelance Developer (Go/C#/Python)

Location: Delft - Hybrid (3-4 days/week with flex)

Contract Type: 6 month initial freelance contract + extensions

Hourly Rate: 80-90 EUR/hr with flex

The client:

We’re looking for skilled Engineers to join our client, a global leader in the offshore energy market.

The team are modernizing legacy applications and building greenfield solutions. The infrastructure is in the process of being transitioned from a fully Windows/Microsoft environment to Kubernetes clusters and they are developing new platform applications in Go & Python to support multiple services.

Since there are multiple legacy applications being modernised, you should be confident working with new technology & consider yourself somewhat of a polyglot.

Tech Stack:

• Developing new Go/Python applications on a new platform
• Modernizing legacy C#/.NET applications
• Working with bare-metal Kubernetes clusters
• On-premises infrastructure with some Azure integration
• Strong DevOps focus

This is a long term opportunity and a chance for those intrigued by learning new things to expand their skillsets across a broad range of technology & take a senior role in a newly developed team.
