Tasks


  • Design, implement, and maintain backend services using Go (Golang), ensuring clean, efficient, and well-documented code
  • Develop and optimize data access layers with PostgreSQL and manage schema evolution with best practices
  • Offer support to deploy and monitor services on AWS RDS and related infrastructure
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and team planning sessions


As part of a future career roadmap, contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation, if experience allows.

Qualifications

Must-haves:


  • Strong proficiency in Go (Golang) with experience building production-level applications
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
  • Familiarity with AWS RDS and general cloud database deployment practices
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Agile or SaFe methodologies
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code in a collaborative team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field


Nice to have:


  • Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
  • Exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch)

  • Start: by arrangement - always on the 1st and 15th of the month
  • Working hours: full-time (40h); 27 vacation days
  • Employment contract: Unlimited
  • Line of work: Consulting
  • Language skills: Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Flexibility & willingness to travel
  • Other: a valid work permit
