Functional Business Analyst

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Opened in January 2014, the Bucharest office is constantly expanding.

Profile:

You need to be an excellent Business Functional Analyst, communicator, and feel comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the client organization in an empathetic and considerate manner. You must have proven experience in analyzing business needs and translating them into requirements that are clear and easy to understand for the implementation team.

Technically, we are looking for:

• Lending-related knowledge is a must;
• Experience in Functional Analysis, Private Banking, Wealth Management;
• Advanced knowledge of Banking and Wealth Management ecosystem, especially Capital Markets business.
• Deep understanding of products, processes and systems for Lending for Private Banking customers;
• Knowledge related to external data sources like Bloomberg / Refinitiv;
• Lending and Investment understanding targeted on Lombard, Liquid collateral assessment and management;
• Basic SQL knowledge (open for learning / collaboration with DEV.), Qlik / database contributor experience;
• Planned integration into a global lending platform and workflow processes expertise;
• Experience working closely with Product Owners and Business Analysts for translating business requirements into technical requirements;
• Be the key actor in writing & conducting UAT test cases and, in case required, train the stakeholders;
• Validate requirements, UAT Testing & User Training (if required): you will validate e2e requirements via reviews, walkthroughs, and demo;
• Translate business needs by creating models, diagrams, presentations and other documentations that support the target audience to understand the business requirements;
• Facilitate communication at team level in order to create consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions;
• Proactively identify risks/issues that might affect the squad’s overall health;
• Demonstrates experience in understanding the business process design;
• Customer and service oriented to support interaction with team resources and clients, actively engages stakeholders to build an understanding of the requirements.

Preferred experience:

• Minimum 5 Years’ experience as Business or Technical Analyst, preferably in banks in the lending area;
• Experience of agile (scrum) methodology;
• Experience in software implementation and process optimization, strategic planning, and business development.
