What we're looking for:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst specializing in Data Governance to support our enterprise data management initiatives. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring data quality, integrity, compliance, and governance across business units, supporting decision-making processes and regulatory requirements.

What you'll be doing:

• Assist in implementing and maintaining data governance frameworks, standards, and policies across the organization.
• Analyze and monitor data quality metrics, identify data issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with data stewards, data owners, and IT to ensure proper data classification, lineage, and documentation.
• Support metadata management efforts including cataloging, data definitions, and business glossaries.
• Conduct impact analysis of changes to data systems and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Assist with compliance reporting and audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal governance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).
• Create dashboards and reports to visualize data quality trends and governance KPIs.
• Work closely with data engineering, business analysts, and other stakeholders to support data governance best practices across data projects.

Requirements and technologies:

• 4+ years of experience in a data analyst or data governance-related role.
• Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data quality frameworks, and data lifecycle management.
• Experience working with data management platforms, metadata tools, or governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Alation, Informatica).
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and risk management practices.
• Nice to have:
• Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Knowledge of data modeling.
