We are now looking for a Senior Game Designer

Join our quest in making the worlds best co-op games! We're looking for a game dev talent to join our growing design department working on the Helldivers 2 team.

Who you are:

We're looking for someone who is friendly and helpful, but also hardworking, efficient and dedicated to the game design craft!

• Minimum 5 years experience in the games industry from a similar role (AA or AAA)
• Have experience of a full AA/AAA dev cycle from conception to release
• Adept in scripting game features and working in engine
• Adept at developing and scripting enemy AI
• Be able to work very independently and assume responsibility
• Good at articulating and documenting features and systems
• Experience working on game balance in co-op games
• Experience with working on systemic game design
• Strong collaborative skills across disciplines
• Great English communication skills, both written and spoken
  
  

What you'll do:

As a Senior Game Designer you will be;

• Scripting and implementing things in the game engine
• Translating game direction to game design
• Solve complex design problems in an efficient manner
• Owning, building and driving development of new exciting features
• Work closely and collaborate effectively with other disciplines
• Prototype and implement features that work with the existing design ecosystem
• Active and driving participation in design meetings
• Be a part of handling design and balance in a live service title
• Mentor and skill up midlevel and junior members of the design team

Practical Information

Scope: Full-time: 40 hours per week with initial 6 month probation period.

Location: Office first, hybrid solution possible with minimum 3 days per week in the office. You need to be eligible to work in Sweden.

We are a pet friendly office! You can expect to find dogs and occasionally some cats around.
