KSAT, the world's leading commercial satellite ground station based in Tromsø, Norway, is seeking talented Software Developers to join our team. We develop and deliver data, information, and services based on satellites and serve customers worldwide.
As an operator of the world's largest ground network, we have unique scaling and control needs for our network of ground stations. We rely on continuously developing ourselves and our solutions to meet new user needs, new technology, and scaling.
As a developer in our Ground Station Control team, you will play a key role in developing KSAT's ground station control system. KSAT's control system is developed in-house and is strategically critical to KSAT.
Your key responsibilities as a Software Developer at KSAT will include:

As a developer in our Ground Station Control team, you will play a key role in developing KSAT's ground station control system. KSAT's control system is developed in-house and is strategically critical to KSAT.
Your key responsibilities as a Software Developer at KSAT will include:
- Developing and delivering high-quality "API-first" applications and services
- Participating in architecture and design decisions with the team and its stakeholders
- Contributing to the team making good technology and design decisions
- Continuously working to improve your own and the team's processes
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in technology
- Experience programming in at least one of Rust, Python, or Go
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Knowledge of, or hands-on experience with, the design and development of distributed systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
