Key Responsibilities:
Reporting To The Senior HR Advisor And Director, you sill Support the development of strategic HR Programs and provide operational HR Advisory Services across a wide Range of functions, including:
- Recruitment and staffing
- Learning and development
- HR policy development and planning
- Health & Safety
- Support in employment equity, pay equity, job evaluation/classification (training provided)

What You Bring
Education & Experience:
- University degree in Industrial Relations or Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and recent experience in a unionized HR environment
- Proven experience in recruitment, staffing, and learning & development
Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of trade unions and equity principles
- Proficiency with HR systems and implementation
- Sound judgment and ability to advise all levels of staff and leadership
- Awareness of the social and political dynamics within unionized environments
- Solid grasp of employment legislation, standards, and collective agreements
Attributes:
- Fully bilingual in English and French (written, spoken, and comprehension)
- Strong analytical skills
- Conflict resolution and relationship-building abilities
- Excellent project management and team collaboration skills
- Advanced proficiency in HR-related software tools
