About the Role:
As a Senior Security Consultant, Network, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise firewall solutions across a variety of client environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, and Fortinet firewalls, as well as strong proficiency in managing multi-vendor firewall estates via Tufin. While the primary focus is on network security, experience in endpoint protection products such as CrowdStrike Falcon, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint will be considered a strong advantage. You will act as a trusted advisor to Cyderes’ clients, delivering expert consulting on the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise firewall architectures. Leveraging your in-depth technical expertise and client-facing experience, you will help organizations transform their network security posture, align solutions with business drivers, and guide them through complex security initiatives. Your consultative mindset and ability to build strong, strategic client relationships will be central to your success in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic security consultant, partnering with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored network security architectures
  • Lead the design, deployment, migration, and optimization of firewall solutions across enterprise environments
  • Architect secure, high-availability perimeter and segmentation designs utilizing Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/FTD, and Fortinet platforms
  • Leverage Tufin SecureTrack and SecureChange for policy management, automation, compliance validation, and operational efficiency
  • Conduct firewall audits, segmentation reviews, rule base cleanups, and develop zero-trust architectures
  • Deliver high-quality technical documentation including HLDs, LLDs, network diagrams, and implementation plans
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with project managers, sales engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure solution alignment and success
  • Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer to customer teams and junior consultants
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security trends, technologies, and regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Support broader security initiatives such as integration with SIEM, EDR, and cloud-native controls




Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in network or cybersecurity engineering, with a focus on enterprise firewall deployments
  • Strong expertise in Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA/FTD, and Fortinet FortiGate technologies
  • Proficient in using Tufin to manage and optimize large-scale, multi-vendor firewall estates
  • Experience with routing, switching, NAT, VPNs, high availability, and remote access configurations
  • Understanding of Zero Trust, segmentation, and firewall best practices across hybrid environments
  • Exposure to endpoint protection platforms such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or NIST CSF
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey technical detail to diverse audiences
  • Certifications such as PCNSE, NSE Certified Expert, CCNP Security, CCSA/CCSE, and Tufin Certified Security Expert are strongly preferred
