Position Overview:

As an Accounting Intern, you will collaborate with Accounting & Finance Management to perform general accounting activities, including account reconciliation, analysis, and monthly journal entry preparation/posting. We are seeking a motivated college student (Recently Graduated or Senior Year Only) for our Accounting Internship, a key position in our Accounting & Finance department. The Accounting Intern will work in a fast-paced environment, which requires someone who is at ease in a multitasking environment.

Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite @ HQ Daily)

Role Type: Temporary/seasonal, In-Office

Requirements

• 2024 Graduate or Current senior-year college student pursuing a degree in accounting
• Proficient in MS Office applications, with advanced Excel skills
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to work in the office daily
  
  

Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries and conduct reconciliations with a keen eye for accuracy
• Assist with financial month-end and year-end close functions, including in-house reporting
• Utilize problem solving and organization skills in support of ad hoc projects.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and internal policies
• Thoroughly investigate and report all variance explanations accurately
• Undertake additional duties, tasks, and projects that are assigned
• Provide valuable assistance with internal and external audit requests
