About The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Corporate Real Estate (CRE) Associate Project Manager to support the Walt Disney Company’s (TWDG) global real estate portfolio. This role is critical in managing and executing capital construction projects that align with Disney’s strategic business goals while adhering to corporate standards and requirements. The CRE design and delivery team oversees the end-to-end process of construction and renovation projects, from initial planning through design, permitting, construction, and occupancy. As an Associate Project Manager, you will coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards. About The Role

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and management of capital improvement, construction, and renovation projects across Disney’s global real estate portfolio.
- Support the bid processes for architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors, including preparing bid documents and evaluating proposals.
- Help prepare and maintain project budgets, schedules, and regular project update reports to ensure stakeholders are informed of progress.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including drafting agendas, tracking action items, and ensuring follow-up.
- Prepare and process project documentation such as funding requests, internal work permits, contracts, and change orders.
- Maintain comprehensive project files and records to ensure accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to track project milestones, review progress, and resolve issues.
- Assist in reviewing construction documents, plans, specifications, and design revisions.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project activities, enforce safety standards, and verify adherence to design documentation.
- Support change order management, including documentation, cost verification, and tracking.
- Assist in budget monitoring, cost forecasting, and processing invoices to ensure financial controls are maintained.
- Support procurement activities, including vendor selection, bid management, and contract administration.
- Coordinate with internal teams such as finance, facilities, IT, security, sourcing, and real estate to facilitate project approval and execution.
- Act as a liaison between internal Disney stakeholders and external vendors, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication.
- Provide regular project updates to business units, addressing concerns and aligning project deliverables with operational needs.
- Assist in vendor management to ensure timely delivery of services and materials, maintaining positive working relationships.
- Support project turnover processes, ensuring successful handover of completed spaces to operational teams.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project design, construction, or tenant improvement work, or at least 3 years of Disney project coordination experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of local and regional building codes, construction best practices, and safety standards.
- Experience managing recurring capital programs and tenant improvement projects is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in construction management, engineering, architecture, real estate development, or related field is required.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, EIT, PE, or architect’s license are a plus.
- Familiarity with design and project management tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Procore is advantageous.
- Master’s degree in construction management, real estate development, business administration, or architecture is preferred.
- This role involves working primarily in a corporate office setting, with occasional site visits.
- The position may require flexibility to support project deadlines and attend meetings outside standard hours.
- Some travel may be necessary to project sites or regional offices.
- The role requires strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.
