AWS Data Architect

High-impact opportunity for a Data & ML Architect to lead a greenfield AWS platform build-out for a top telecom group in the region.

📍 Location: 4 days onsite at Oman | Travel assistance provided

⏱️ Contract: 3 months (initial), high chance of extension

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and design of a scalable AWS Data & ML platform
• Implement data governance, privacy & compliance strategies (GDPR, etc.)
• Architect MLOps pipelines, model versioning, and SageMaker workflows
• Design efficient data models for real-time and analytical workloads
• Oversee migration of legacy data systems to AWS with minimal disruption
• Evaluate and implement big data solutions using EMR, Redshift, StepFunctions
• Drive cost optimization and enforce data access controls

✅ Requirements:

• 7+ years in data architecture and machine learning infra
• Proven track record with AWS (SageMaker, EMR, Redshift)
• Strong in data security, role-based access, and compliance
• Experience with telecom-scale datasets is a plus
• AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, ML Specialty) preferred
