In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Software Developer, you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid cloud and AI journeys.

You'll have the opportunity to work with the latest technologies, ensuring the applications delivered are high-performing, highly available, responsive, and maintainable.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include

• Analytical Problem-Solving and Solution Enhancement: Analyze, validate, and propose improvements to existing failures, with the support of the architect and technical leader.
• Comprehensive Engagement Across Process Phases: Involvement in every step of the process, from design, development, testing release changes, and troubleshooting where necessary, providing great customer service.
• Strategic Stakeholder Engagement and Innovative Coding Solutions: Drive key discussions with your stakeholders and analyze the current landscape for opportunities to operate and code creative solutions.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Between 7 to 15 Years of experience in a similar role

The candidate must possess hands-on experience with the technologies listed below and be prepared to actively support production environments.

Java (versions 8, 11, and 17)

Spring Framework (versions 4 and 5)

Spring Boot (2.x / 3.x)

Frontend Frameworks: VueJS or Angular

Relational Databases: Oracle and/or MSSQL

ORM Technologies: JPA / Hibernate

SQL & Database Performance Tuning, Liquibase for DB versioning

Business Rule Engines: Drools or equivalent BPMN tools (even at beginner level, < 2 years acceptable)

Build & Versioning Tools: Maven, Git

CI/CD: Experience with pipeline management, including YAML-based configurations

Testing Frameworks: JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber

Test Automation proficiency

TTP (Trusted Third Party) Layers integration

Authentication Protocols: Kerberos, OIDC

NodeJS (working knowledge)

API Development: REST and SOAP APIs, adhering to OpenAPI standards

Project Tracking Tools: JIRA

Code Quality: Familiarity with Sonar, clean coding principles

Application Security: Solid understanding of secure coding practices including prevention of SQL Injection, XSS, RCE, etc.

Software Architecture: Sound architectural knowledge and system design principles

Language Proficiency: Fluent in both English and French

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• End-to-End Testing: Experience with Cypress, Protractor, or Selenium WebDriver
• Code Quality & Security Awareness: Sensitivity to SonarQube rules and OWASP guidelines
