Join the East Midlands Special Operations Unit as a Data Scientist, where you’ll work within the Digital Intelligence and Investigation team to deliver and develop our data services.
You’ll be working with the wider technical team to develop approaches to multi-source data exploitation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Implementing data analytics methodologies and techniques to provide valuable insights to inform regional serious and organised crime policing.
- Develop processes to combine data feeds to exploit multiple open and closed data sources.
- Regularly consult with non-technical customers to understand requirements and provide advice.
- Experience of developing and delivering analytics products using a range of open and closed data sources
- Experience of the practical implementation of data security, access control and data protection principles and legislation
- Able to communicate statistical and analytical concepts to technical and non-technical staff
