Your New Role and Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist, you’ll be at the forefront of a digital transformation initiative to replace manual, error-prone data handling with smart, scalable, and automated solutions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing robust data pipelines and reporting systems
• Developing unique identifiers to accurately track users across systems
• Writing clean, efficient code to automate data collection and reporting
• Creating intuitive, one-click reporting tools for educators and administrators
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across attendance, activity, and finance datasets
• Collaborating with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver innovative solutions

What You Will Need to Succeed

To excel in this role, you’ll need to bring:

• A strong background in data science, analytics, or software engineering
• Proven ability to write code for data processing and reporting (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
• Experience designing automated reporting systems and dashboards
• A creative and strategic mindset—someone who brings the best ideas to the table
• A passion for accuracy, efficiency, and user-friendly design
• Familiarity with education sector data is a plus, but not essential
