Opportunity to join a leading University in the Sunshine Coast on a part time basis. As part of the Insights and Analytics Unit, you’ll contribute to a transformative program designed to uplift data capabilities and deliver strategic value across the University.

Your new role

As a Data Business Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the final phase of a multi-year Data & Analytics (D&A) uplift program, with a contract running until the end of the year. This role is part time, 5 days over a fortnight. (2 days one week, 3 the following).

You’ll work closely with stakeholders to deliver on the D&A roadmap—integrating systems, improving data platforms, and embedding business improvements. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading business analysis across complex systems and processes
• Documenting current and future state processes and identifying improvement opportunities
• Managing data integration requirements and supporting agile project planning
• Facilitating workshops, stakeholder engagement, and change management activities
• Contributing to the development of artefacts such as user stories, test plans, and process documentation

What you need

• A strong technical foundation—ideally having worked as a BI Developer or Data Scientist before transitioning into a BA role
• Proven experience in data platform integration, analytics delivery, and process improvement
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools
• Experience in higher education is a significant advantage
• Able to go on site fulltime for the days you're working (5 days a fortnight).
