Job Description
Open to candidates in LATAM, North America and EMEA. Must overlap 3 hours with PST timezone
The Feeds Experience team is responsible for some of the highest traffic pages on the platform: the Home feed, Popular feed and more. We strive to ensure the feeds experience is intuitive and delightful for all users so they can discover better content faster. This is a high impact role where you will drive related technical & product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for one of the largest sites in the world.
What You’ll Do:
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineering counterparts to execute on product and business strategy and build novel products and features that our users will love.
- Contribute to the full development cycle: technical design, development, test, experimentation, analysis, and release. You’ll be reviewing code and design docs, giving feedback on product specs and mocks.
- Participate with a team of thoughtful, fast-moving, and motivated engineers. Contribute to standards that improve developer workflows, recommend best practices, and build working and maintainable features. Continuously learn and improve your technical and non-technical abilities.
- Minimum 5+ years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on, professional software development experience developing user-facing iOS native applications at scale, using Swift.
- Experience with modern iOS development frameworks and patterns such as SwiftUI, UIKit, Combine, and Concurrency.
- Experienced with GraphQL, REST, HTTP basics, and the ability to design and implement maintainable APIs is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and to deliver projects on schedule.
- BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
- Excellent communication skills. You partner effectively with teams in a fully remote environment and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
